Wrapping up 2020

December marks the end of 2020, and this year has been a rough one. We hope for a resolution to the pandemic soon so we can all resume our everyday lives and interact like we used to. Despite these challenging times, Mobilearth accomplished some new features and enhancements to our products. Our goal is to help financial institutions adapt to this new normal.

Queue
The purpose of the Digital Queue was to allow clients to reserve their place in a virtual lineup before needing to head down to the branch—we want them to avoid lining up within close proximity of one another and be safe somewhere else while they wait for their turn. The advantage of this feature is to let clients plan ahead and enable the branch to streamline operations.

Helpdesk
Our Helpdesk module is a live-chat support tool for financial institutions to communicate with clients. Helpdesk offers an alternative for clients to encourage them to skip the branch visit if they can. Employees can use the desktop version in branch or have the Helpdesk installed on a tablet so they can work remotely. It's a great way to build client rapport and to boost teamwork.

TopUps
TopUps will give clients the option to top up any prepaid (pay as you go) phone directly from their account. It is fee free and convenient-- perfect for your clients who want to help family and friends out. We understand that this pandemic has affected everyone in many ways, but a phone call to a loved one can make a difference in their lives.

Biometrics
Everything requires passwords nowadays and sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of them--we get it. We’ve had Biometric Authentication using fingerprint previously but this year we also expanded the iOS platform to include Face ID. Now customers have more choices in how they login.

Covid Pop-up
The login pop-up is a quick and effective way to broadcast important information and messages to clients. This pop-up works on both web banking and the MobiBanking app. Not only can this pop-up be used to deliver urgent messages, it can also be used as a marketing tool.

Enhanced Security Alerts
We have made enhancements to our security alerts to add protection and clarity for clients. These alerts will aid your clients so they can monitor their accounts and be aware of any suspicious activity.

UI Changes
We've made some UI changes to the MobiBanking app to give it a more modern look. This facelift of the app will also help accommodate our growing number of features. We are looking forward to adding more features in the new year so stay tuned!

Password Workflow
We have reviewed the Forgot Password feature and made changes to the password workflow. These changes will provide better guidance when a client is trying to reset their password. At Mobilearth, we understand security is paramount but we temper that with the customer needs to ensure we are providing the best of both worlds.

In addition to our 2020 New World Report award a few months ago, Mobilearth is proud to announce we won another award! We were nominated for Corporate Vision's 2021 Canadian Business Awards and our MobiBranch product won for Virtual Banking Solution of the Year, naming us the Best Boutique Fintech Company 2021--what an incredible honor it is to win this! We are very grateful for winning not one, but TWO awards this year. Thank you to each and every one of you who have supported us along the way and pushed our company to be better as a whole. Your confidence in us means a lot and inspires us to keep moving forward and creating the best banking solutions possible.
