August Newsletter: We're almost there
BURNABY, BC, CANADA, August 21, 2020
This year may have felt slow for some, but the good news is we are more than half way through it. In these past eight months, we have released a number of changes and features to our new web and app. Our goal is to have everyone using the new web and upgraded app as soon as possible. The old code is being deprecated alarmingly fast and is starting to cause issues for your customers that we cannot fix. We want to deliver the best user experience for both you and your customers.
Should you run into any technical issues, please contact helpdesk@mobilearth.com and create a ticket to make it easier for us to track and respond back to you the soonest. If you ever need immediate assistance, please do not hesitate to call; we are just a phone call away.
Hot Topic #1: Activity Logs
Activity logs are extremely useful for auditing purposes because they contain a lot of valuable information. There are activity logs for both the customer side and employee side and the log stores the activities performed by the user as soon as they access the system.
Activity logs contain detailed information such as the User ID, what action was taken by the user, the device that they were using, the time and date, the IP address and much more. If a customer comes in and asks for further assistance, the bank employee will be able to look into the customer's activity log and see what they have done. These logs can be found in Customer Maintenance and Employee Maintenance modules.
Hot Topic #2: Vouchers
Vouchers are images associated with a transaction and act as an enhancement to the account's transaction history. Sometimes there may be more than one image for a transaction. These images offer extra information for customers and can also be downloaded in chronological order using History Download. The availability of the vouchers are dependent on the transaction codes set up and may not be available for all transaction codes. This added feature is great for customers who want additional information on a transaction.
Please contact us if you are interested in knowing more about Vouchers.

Tip of the Month - Security Questions & Password Resets
It is essential that your customers have their security questions set up so they can use the "Forgot Password" feature. The Forgot Password module works by having the customer input their valid User ID so the system can ask one of the customer's security questions to confirm user ID verification. If no security questions have been set up for the customer, then the system will generate a random security question that will result in no temporary password sent.
