May Newsletter: Checking in with Everyone
BURNABY, BC, CANADA, May 15, 2020
We are well into spring and almost into summer. As all financial institutions are taking measures to flatten the curve and keep everybody safe, here at Mobilearth we continue to provide reliable support for all of our clients. If you run into any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us via Helpdesk at helpdesk@mobilearth.com.
Please note that the phone lines for the old office have been disconnected and we are working on getting new phones set up. However, with all non-essential services closed, we are struggling with having that done in a timely manner. We will update everyone as soon as we know more.
In the meantime, email is the best way to reach us and all conference calls will continue with either WebEx or GoToMeeting as usual.
We are here to assist you so that you can provide quality service to your customers.
Announcements
At Mobilearth, we are proud to announce that we were able to take SVCB from contract to pilot, all within eight days--which has never been done before. This speedy launch was to ensure their customers can use mobile banking immediately in the current pandemic situation. We have issued a press release with more information HERE
Marketing Banners
Mobilearth is offering FREE assistance with the marketing banner design for our clients. Please email gomobile@mobilearth.com if you are interested or if you want a refresher course on how to upload banners.
Hot Topic: Electronic Funds Transfer
EFTs, or Electronic Funds Transfer, is a convenient way for your customers to send money to other banks in the Caribbean. With Mobilearth's User Interface, customers can easily fill out the EFT form and submit it to your bank where your employee can review the information and either approve or reject the EFT. Once approved, the EFT will be sent to IBIS for processing.
New Feature: Login Pop-up Banner
A few weeks ago, we introduced the Login Pop-up Banner. This new feature is available in the new release and it is FREE to you. Yes, you heard right, it is at no cost to our clients as part of Mobilearth's initiative to help our clients keep their customers informed during this difficult time.
If you are interested in this feature, please contact gomobile@mobilearth.com.
Pay It Forward
Featuring: 1st National Bank St. Lucia Ltd.
This month's Pay It Forward recognition goes to 1st National Bank St. Lucia Ltd. Tip of the Month: Account View Maintenance
Did you know that your customers can rearrange the order of their accounts on the Customer Web Portal? Not only that, but customers can also set account aliases for each account. Account aliases are very useful for distinguishing between multiple accounts. This flexibility enables the customer to manage the way their accounts are shown for a more personable user experience.
Disaster Recovery Project
Does your financial institution have a disaster recovery plan? Hurricane season is almost here and it is better to be prepared than to wait until it happens. Our Disaster Recovery Project can help your financial institution with a backup plan in case your branch is affected by a natural or man made disaster. Be prepared.
Contact gomobile@mobilearth.com for more information.

The success of the Mobile Banking and MobiBranch product suite has grown Mobilearth’s clientele to include those in Canada, United States, Central America, South America and the Caribbean region. The addition of the Bank of Montserrat adds another indigenous Caribbean Bank to their roster.
